Fiji's 330 islands exist in a register that the word "paradise" has made almost unsayable. The light on the water in the early morning, the reef below the surface, the particular sound of Fijian voices singing — it is all real, and it does not photograph fully. The communities on the outer islands, where most of the most spectacular resorts sit, remain among the most remote in the Pacific.
Why we're here
Why Fiji
Fiji sells the world private islands and overwater bungalows. For many Fijian families living away from the resorts, those images belong to a different world entirely — child poverty rates across the Pacific remain among the highest in the region.
We're currently sourcing a vetted local impact partner for Fiji. We'll announce them here when confirmed.
